Alt Bright,who is a Queer Designer,Environment Artist,Critic and Illustrator from China.

Alt is AFAB(Assigned Female at Birth),so his sex is female.But he has always felt that his gender is more neutral and masculine since he was a child."I think everyone should be androgynous.When facing different peopleand things,we can not view a person with a single gender",Alt said.

So his gender is queer,his pronouns is he/they,he prefers to be called as Mister,or other masculine callings.Only his parents,lover can call him with feminine terms,like "my girl".

Early Life

Alt Bright was borned in China,in 2007.Before he was 14,he lived an ordinary,boring life with a little bit of happiness.

In 2021,when he was 14,as a transfer student, he suffered severe school bullying,which led to his depression.He tried to suicide many times then,because of high academic pressure,school bullying,and a lonely environment.

But at this time,he began to know about things about Art,like music,designing,video games.He even wanted to be a hacker.Actually he really has a quality of it,he self-taughed things about hacker for a short time.He is very good at computers.

And,he beagan to learn about designing,with a very old computer that its system is even Windows 7.

Because of his love for animes,he began to learn clip videos,with only a phone.

Likewise,during this painful time,he learned to play the piano.One of his dreams is to be a musician.

In 2022,was a very special year for Alt,because he really decided to be an Artist.He couldn’t draw before,but he started to learn about it.

At this time,his dream was to be a cartoonist.

And,he finally had a perfect laptop that its graphics card is RTX3060.

So,he began to learn any things he wanted to learn quickly,such as designing,how to use a computer to draw,etc.

And he began to design a few Ads for his parents,just for a short time.

In 2023,he somehow suddenly had a deep interested in movies."That’s really a strong deep feeling,it was as if there was a sudden gravitational force that drew me into the world of movies",Alt said.

From then on, one of his requirements for himself was that his paintings should have a sense of story like movie shots.

In 2024,he began to systematically teach himself painting, including anatomy.He has a great interested in it.

In 2025,he is 18.So he determinded to post his works on the Internet.

The Reason For The Art Name

First,Alt Bright sounds like a real name.

Second,you can call it:Alt,Bright Artist.

That means,he thinks himself is very very bright and brilliant.And the word "Bright" symbolizes light.

And,alt stands for alternative.

Alt thinks that there are so many similair painting styles in the world now,and he thinks they have no soul, they make him tired and even want to vomit.

Because he’s an alternative person,and a rebel.So one of his goals is to become more and more alternative and create a new painting style.

And it seems that he’s done it yet.Because he first taught himself designing when he was 15, so he combined designing with painting.

Personal Life

Alt Bright now is a Designer and Environment Artist.He always designs movies,series and video games' posters.And he does some environment arts and directs shorts for them.

Alt is also a Critic,he always comments on movies,series and video games.

He feels that his mental age is very mature.
When he was 14,He came out as genderqueer.

He likes to wear suit,he thinks suit is the most handsome clothes in this world.

He doesn't like dress,or feminine clothing.

He likes eating.He also love films and their posters.

He’s also interested in Video Games,even though he doesn’t play much now.
He’s crazy about music,when he wakes up,first thing is to listen to the music.He also has deep research in it.

He doesn’t like children and people of the same age as him.Because he thinks children and young people are so annoying,boring,noisy.He thinks having a child would hinder him and seriously affect his freedom, which is the most important thing to him.

He hates people being curious about his privacy.
He hates and looks down on those who like to spread rumors, seekpopularity, and meddle in other people's affairs.
He dislikes posting his own photos to the Internet(unless they are working photos),because he thinks it's skin deep,he just wants to spend his time and energy on his art.
